Amiga demo scene work

Here you can download most of the songs I have made, since I joined IRIS and the Amiga demo scene in February 1995.

 Title: 3rd dimension
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 10623 bytes
Download: MOD

The music for "3rd dimension", a 64 KB intro released at The Gathering 1998. I wanted to create some kind of modern/industrial/noisy techno for this intro, so here's the result.

Competed (Remote entry. Ranked 7th.) with this tune at Buenzli 2008. It's a remix/refit of a rather old tune (which the name also suggests, I think...). I gave the final tune the extension "Party version" and sent that version to Buenzli, but later decided that this is the only version, I'll ever release, so there...

 Title: Absolute
Tool: FL Studio
Packer: MP3
File size: 6836224 bytes
Download: MP3

My tune for the Windows version of Eurochart 48

 Title: Assassins serenade
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 134719 bytes
Download: MOD

This module in one of the first I made in IRIS. The module is very slow and kind of atmospheric too. Considering that it was one of my first modules in the scene, it's actually a good tune, I think. Honestly. :)

 Title: Carbon fibre fields
Tool: FL Studio
Packer: OGG
File size: 6965775 bytes (OGG)
6101462 bytes (4-minute compo version, OGG)
Download: OGG
OGG (4-minute compo version)

Competed at Horde 2007. Came up second.

 Title: Close encounters
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 502084 bytes
Download: MOD

Released at Symposium 1997 and ranked 10th. A really nice techno tune that is kind of "happy". It is also the main tune in the IRIS demo "Light".

 Title: Delirium Tremens
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 411821 bytes
Download: MOD

Released at the TCP party 1997 in Copenhagen. I think I was ranked 2nd with this module, and received quite a lot of positive feedback on it.

 Title: Djooble the poodle
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 107883 bytes
Download: MOD

The reason for putting this module online is that it's the first module I remember to have made. With a tune ripped from a crack intro, and a cute idea, this module is still very close to my heart and a sure participator whenever I have a "good old times" trip. :)

 Title: Earache
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 500634 bytes
Download: MOD

I competed with 2 modules in the module compo at the Mulle Party 1996. Ask yourself how that's possible. Or better: Ask Darkhawk. :) Well, anyway. The module is fast, tight and terribly "techno-like". Still, it contains some very nice passages and switches nicely from one section to another. Gotta listen to this one.

 Title: Energy extensions
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 398770 bytes
Download: MOD

Released at The Party 1997. Ranked 4th. Heavy use of 303 samples made this tune very modern (at that time) and it's full of energy and quite melodic aswell.

 Title: Eye surfer
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 600307 bytes
Download: MOD

The music for the IRIS demo "I-surf", released at The Party 1999. Zixag/Ephidrena said about this one: "Best demo music I've heard for a long time...". The style is industrial, but with my usual melodic additions.

 Title: Folkevognen
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 72011 bytes
Download: MOD

For "Dansktoppen", a music disk from IRIS. The concept is "Old popular danish tunes". This tune is a tribute to the old VW Type 1 "Beetle" (not the new one) and was originally composed by a danish group called "Shubidua" and I Amiga-ized it. Stunning result. :) I especially love the brass sections!

 Title: Happy burger
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 733701 bytes
Download: MOD

My compomodule for the 4-channel compo at BSE in Belgium 1998. It's no secret that I love happy techno like Scooter, and this module is produced under heavy influence of those guys. No parts ripped, though. Everything has been mixed and produced by me. So if you're not into music like Scooter, Dune and the likes, then stay far away from this tune. The module was ranked 2nd in the compo mentioned above....

 Title: Hip hurra
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 17654 bytes
Download: MOD

A tune from the "Dansktoppen" music disk. A guy called Tommy Seebach made this tune in the early eighties and I technofied and Amiga-ized it. Not one of my best Amiga-izations, though, but still worth a download and a good laugh! :)

 Title: Influx
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 639396 bytes
Download: MOD

The tune the TRACKED MUSIC compo at TRSAC '05 - and older tune (since I don't track anymore). Adonis/IRIS came up with the name for the tune - I have no idea what the name means. The tune came up in 2nd place.

 Title: Into the black hole
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 152163 bytes
Download: MOD

Never released, but it was also one of the first modules I made in IRIS, and since I like the melody and the ambience of this module, it's now available for you to enjoy. Or dislike. :)

 Title: Into the IRIS
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 476622 bytes
Download: MOD

Released at Symposium 1998. Ranked 3rd, which is my best international result in the Amiga demo scene. Industrial tune, which most people seem to like.

 Title: Kilkenny intro
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 190965 bytes
Download: MOD

The intro module for a demo we made for TCP 97 in Copenhagen. The demo won. The module is inspired by the cool vibes of Jean Michel Jarre, who I like very much.

 Title: Kilofixing
Tool: FL Studio
Packer: OGG
File size: 4745037 bytes
Download: OGG

The tune from our winning demo from Breakpoint'06.

 Title: Midwinter
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 118729 bytes
Download: MOD

A cosy little guitar tune. I wanted to show the world (and not least myself) that I was capable of doing something in the way Jogeir Liljedahl used to do it, so I gave it a try. This tune was finally released and competed at the Mulle party 96, alongside "Earache", but none of them got ranked, so....cheating isn't always the solution. :) Anyway...the module tends to get boring now and then, but I uploaded it just to show that I actually CAN do something different than techno. :)

 Title: Mission impossible
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 258159 bytes
Download: MOD

I like the tune U2 did for the movie, so I wanted to make my own version. It was released at Scene Meeting 96, but it didn't get ranked. Still, I kinda like it and the drum/synthesizer work in this module is pretty good, I think.

 Title: New York afternoon
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 70932 bytes
Download: MOD

Released in a packmag (Avatar 8) by IRIS at the TRSAC 2K party. Jazzy module with a nice feeling.

 Title: No activity
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 163138 bytes
Download: MOD

Just a nice module. Thought you should be able to enjoy it aswell. I actually won a compo with this module. The compo was called "SceneNet Compo #8" and took place on a local mail net, called SceneNet. Well...it's a long story. 3-4 modules competed and I won. Big deal. :) Still, it's a good module...

 Title: Notman surprise 96
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 233590 bytes
Download: MOD

This is an old module of mine, finished at the South Sealand party 96 and competed in the surprise module compo. We were given a set of samples and had to make the best of them....hehe, I didn't, but I competed nonetheless. :)

 Title: Orion
Tool: FL Studio
Packer: MP3
File size: 4884608 bytes
Download: MP3

Used in the streaming music compo at TRSAC'05 - 2nd place!

 Title: Overdose
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 405358 bytes
Download: MOD

Composed in 1999 and competed at Scene Meeting 99. A very low bass provides a tight base for this module, and the reactions have only been positive so far. I even got a positive response from a heavy metal/punk dude, so I'm pretty happy about it. :) I dunno how to categorize this module...Some sort of crossover between big beat and funk, maybe? The module was ranked 5th in the mentioned compo.

 Title: Paschip 1
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 3928 bytes
Download: MOD

For an IRIS 40 KB intro, called "Partymania", which was released at at a small party in Copenhagen in 1996. The party was called "Mulle Party", the intro was the 1st "real" 40 KB intro from Talpa, the coder, and the intro actually won! Not that the competition was overwhelming, but still...:) I love this module...the theme in the middle always makes me shake my head and wanna dance. :)

 Title: Paschip 3
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 8008 bytes
Download: MOD

A module for issue 3 of Avatar. Very silent and melodic chip tune.

 Title: Paschip 5
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 4852 bytes
Download: MOD

My last chip tune. Finished in 1999. Dedicated to Mia, my girlfriend. Use this tune, of you want to spice up a party. A party of nerds, of course. :)

 Title: Paschip 8
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 2930 bytes
Download: MOD

Released at BSE 1998 in a co-op surprise intro made by Drifters and IRIS. The intro won, because it was the only competitor. The music is no big deal, but if you are a Nutman-collector (do they exist?), then you ought to get this one too. :)

 Title: Paschip 10
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 17509 bytes
Download: MOD

Made in 96 for issue 3 of Avatar, one of our packs. A kind of noisy chip module, but the melody is very nice, I think...

 Title: Paschip 11
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 4789 bytes
Download: MOD

Made in 98 for an IRIS 40 KB intro, called "Blue". The intro competed in the intro compo at the BSE party in Belgium that same summer...The intro won, of course. :) The module is very noisy...loud, high pitched samples, but still a very nice melody, I think..

 Title: Penalhus blues LTD.
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 282466 bytes
Download: MOD

Yep. Another strange module. This is actually the first module I ever competed with in the scene. It was released at the South Sealand 95 party and got ranked 18th, which I thought was OK. I was a rookie in the scene and SSP 95 was also my first scene party, so I was pretty satisfied with that rank. The module is a strange brew and it's actually inspired by the strange ways of Slide from Polka brothers. This module also contains the only electronic Amiga-ized version of the danish national anthem I have heard so far. For whom it may concern. :)

 Title: Penge!
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 16587 bytes
Download: MOD

A little module I made in 1995 or 1994, where I wanted to celebrate a tax money refund. I think the module was also used in one of IRIS' Avatar packs, but I'm not sure. A little module, nothing special, with a turkish feeling to it.(

 Title: Pleasure dome
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 431697 bytes
Download: MOD

Released at The Party 1998. Ranked 12th. I made this module in just 3-4 hours at the partyplace. It's really happy techno!

 Title: Possessed
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 497948 bytes
Download: MOD

This is an old module that I finished for Scene Meeting 2000 and it ended up 1st at this party. My first victory ever in a compo! The style is...eh...partly happy, partly plain techno and partly industrial. If you listen closely you can hear the letters "I", "R", "I", and "S" now and then. It's ofcourse meant as a tribute to my group, without who this victory and great party would never have been possible.

 Title: R.C.M.
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 460079 bytes
Download: MOD

"Restless, careless, mindless". A module released at Scene Meeting 98 and got ranked 3rd. One of my best modules. It's fast, has good samples and is a mix of acid sounds, GOA trance and plain techno. I have a strange feeling that most techno fans are gonna like this one.

 Title: Rough day
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 339980 bytes
Download: MOD

Made for a party, which didn't have no compos at all (It was a copy party). :) The tune contains some rather good jungle-techno drums, which are rather unfortunate from time to time, but generally this tune sets me in a good mood. It's very silent and inspires to tranquility. You should really download this one. :)

Title: Take it to the top
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 294311 bytes
Download: MOD

I cannot remember where this module was released. All I remember is that it is from the same period as "U.V.A.T.G.J.".

 Title: Technot tanzen
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 175899 bytes
Download: MOD

My first techno tune! Contains some samples of Kermit the frog from the german version of Sesame street. Nice. :) The tune is...ahm...download and listen. :) The name is inspired by the handle, I used back then: Notman.

 Title: The firebird
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 109724 bytes
Download: MOD

This is the first ever guitar module I made (I've made 2. :) ) and it competed at The Party. Well...it didn't compete, because it wasn't selected, but you get the picture, right? :) Nice samples carry this tune and I still like it up until this day.

 Title: The Sirian empire
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 818955 bytes
Download: MOD

The music from our Symposium 99 demo, "Quest". The demo was hard to finish but we are more or less proud of the result. Sure, it has quite some errors in the 3D-engine, but it's got a good story and I only got positive reactions about the music so far, so you should really download this tune and enjoy it as much as they did at Symposium. The tune is my biggest project so far and took me over half a year to complete, because I had to complete it alongside the demo, which also took some time to finish.

 Title: Time stands still
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 146644 bytes
Download: MOD

This is a horrible module. I still wonder why I put it online. It competed in the 4-channel compo at the South Sealand 96 party and got ranked 8th, which I don't understand either. Probably because of the funny start. Anyway, download it and have a peak at it yourself.

 Title: Tinnitus
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 13377 bytes
Download: MOD

The tune from "Tinnitus", a 40 KB intro released at The Party 1998. The music is very noisy. Take care of your ears!

 Title: Touch of spring
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 63167 bytes
Download: MOD

This module got me into IRIS and the scene! Darkhawk liked this module, so he let me join. Lucky me. :) Anyway...the module is a piano song, without any disturbing elements, such as guitars, flutes and drums. :) I still like it.....

 Title: Travel through time
Tool: Protracker
Packer: ZIP
File size: 150854 bytes

The first module I got released in the scene. It was made for the first issue of our internal disk magazine, called "BrainScan". The module is OK, considering it was done so long ago (spring 1995) and it actually has its moments now and then. The tune is very silent and atmospheric, so try to download it, if you like quiet music.

Jahahahaha.....strange name. But hey..that's me. :) The real name is "Uncle Vomit and the gastric juices". Invented by Argh^IND, or his brother. Dunno. Anyway, the module competed in the "SceneNet Compo #9" and got ranked last. Absolutely rock bottom. Noone liked this funny style. A previous norwegian member of my demo group, IRIS, categorized it as "Swedish circus music"...Well, you better listen to it yourself. :)
